Drunk passenger on British Airways flight is restrained after trying to force open exit door

A drunken female passenger on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Boston, Massachusetts, was restrained this evening after trying to force open an exit door mid-journey, police have said.

Flight 213, which had departed from London at 11.57am GMT, was tens of thousands of feet in the air when the woman 'in her thirties' started forcefully attempting to open the door, officials said.

Despite the incident, the plane landed safely at Logan International Airport at around 6.30pm, where it was met by Massachusetts State Police (MSP) troopers, who took the passenger into custody.  More
